Hi, I’m Holly! I am a nerdy, high school fangirl who loves crafting, reading, DIYing, and blogging, not exactly in that order. I’m also on a continual journey to deepen my relationship with God!
I’ve been crafting since I was little, and when I was seven I tried to sell my grandma a messy picture of a reindeer I had painted for $25.00! She paid me $0.25 instead, but after that, I put signs reading “Dragonfly Designs” on the walls in our house to pretend to run a craft business.
A few years later, I decided I wanted to start a real business, and Summer Sky Designs was born!
Over the four years I’ve had Summer Sky Designs, it’s really changed! For one, my craft skills have gotten MUCH better, and I make more complex projects. Two, because it’s mainly a blog now, I’ve changed the name to just Summer Sky!
Honestly, I just want this blog to become a go-to place for anyone who wants to read, smile, and be inspired!
Favorite color: All bright colors!
Favorite book: Holy cow, uhhh, well, I love The Fault in Our Stars, the Percy Jackson series, the Maximum Ride series, and Harry Potter!
Favorite food: As for drinks, I totally could not survive without milk. Seriously. As for actual food, yeah I like food. Creamy soup, taco salad, squash, basically all comfort food like mac and cheese, and chocolateeee!!!
Favorite TV show: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!!! I absolutely love Marvel movies! *cough* and Disney.
Summer Sky 
I think HP and The Percy Jackson series made up my childhood, so, of course, I love them. I haven’t read TFIOS yet, but I have I’m sure I’ll adore the book like the rest of the world. And did you know there’s actually a NINTH book in The Maximum Ride series? I recently got an ARC of it and was so surprised. I thought that series was over with Nevermore!

Yeah I think MR Forever just came out this year! I pre-ordered it from Amazon, but it hasn’t come yet. Have you read the ninth one yet???

I actually haven’t! It’s been a while since I’ve last read the other few and thought I’d skim through them before I start with it! I’m hoping it’ll be a good epilogue in a sense! 🙂

Oh gotcha. Yeah I hope it’ll be good!!! Patterson just published another book in the Witch & Wizard series too, which I think should be a trilogy, The fourth and fifth books are kind of just dragging out a pointless ending, so hopefully MR won’t be like that!

I actually never read The Witch and Wizard series. I think I read the premise for them but never really thought I’d get into them. Yes, let’s keep our fingers crossed!

Well if you’re ever in need of a book to read, you might try them. They might surprise you 😉 but don’t feel that you have to read beyond the third one hahaha! Oooh yes I’m hoping!!!

I feel like that’s never ever going to happen with the length of my current TBR list. 😛 But yes, I will probably have to try that series in the future. 🙂
